"The problem is that people like myself -- relatively young, employed, native New Yorkers, or tri-state area peeps -- don't get involved. Because we have grown up with these cranks for years, lived next door to them, perhaps are even are related to one, thus we have grown cynical and numb, and therefore no longer give a shit about community board involvement."
