I have specialized in painting and created introspective fluid paintings where it is difficult to differentiate the figurative from the abstract. The paintings are mysterious with uncanny shapes that are diffused in aquatic and magical scenes; they are watery mysteries for the observer to decode. In a world that looks at the human body from the outside, as an object, I depict my inner bodily experiences and fantasies through water and paint. These paintings depict the fluids of life as well as their connection to my sensations and emotions. After pouring water and acrylic paint onto the canvas, I notice watermarks that are left, and I see what they resemble. I see abstract shapes and water creatures as well as earth creatures and render them helping the background give birth to them and making them more visible to the viewer. I also leave shapes up to the viewer to decipher.
